Candyland

I picked up this old Candyland game at a thrift store.... isn't it sweet? The pieces are actually plastic and not paper! I know it is not REALLY an educational game... but is is a good plus to making fond childhood memories!

What do you mean not educational. This game has helped a lot of children learn colors and the whole concept of game playing. Think about it, what was one of the first games you ever played?

Val,
I never had Candyland as a child... I really have only played it a few times... I guess that is another reason why I really wanted this game!

I didn't know they had a dvd version. These are great pictures. :) And, I never played it as a child either, but we weren't really into board games.

Just so you all know....
Daniel and I played two games of Candyland and one game of Chutes and Ladders the other night!
