Calculadder and Piano Lessons; a happy mix!

Alex has begun taking part in our Calculadder math drills.... it is so cute to see him 'racing' to get finished! He can finish in 4 minutes now, but the goal is two! Keep up the good work little thinker! Amelia and Daniel would have never done this at his age, but Alex wants to be a part of what the three big kids are doing....

Daniel had his very first ever piano lesson today! He did very well, so says Miss Brianna, and he practiced a good thirty minutes today on his own. He was reluctant to go at first, I have been asking him to consider it for over a year! And one day he just decided to give it a try and it has been all positive since then. I believe he will do well as long as it is a reachable challenge and a little bit of fun....

Way to go Alex and Daniel!! Thank goodness for calculadder, and Daniel looks so much older, sitting there at the piano. :)

I pray that my children take an interest in learning a musical instrument someday! It looks promising... my son gets all upset whenever you take him down from 'playing' the piano! :)

Just stopping by to say hello. I really enjoyed my visit this morning. Love seeing children interested in music. My grandmother is 92, in the nursing home and is entertaining everyone with her talents on the piano. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!
