For the past year, we have had an addition to our family. Magda Natalia Maria Nowak came to us in August 2006 as an exchange student from Poland. We have enjoyed getting to know her and to know about her beautiful country. While she was with us, we met several other exchange students from all over the world. We met Ji Min from South Korea; Regina from Czech Republic; Cem from Germany; Shiori from Japan; Adelina from Romania. They all spent time in our home and around our dinner table, so conversation was lively! We plan to keep in contact with them all through snail mail as well as the internet. Magda will be leaving us on the 24th of June and we will feel as though we have lost a daughter, a sister and a friend.
