Campbellton Landing Civil War Living History

Our view from camp.... absolutely lovely.... so close to God when you are touched with such beauty....
Amelia and Collins kicking up their heels....

Amelia, with her braces eating a honey bun... farb-0-licious... behind her is a new friend, Jordan.... Collin's sister!

Daniel, Alex and others are waiting to 'ambulance' wounded soldiers off the field... part of the Chaplain Core duties... They did good, it was heavy lifting!
Here they are in action... Alex leads carrying the wounded soldier's weapon...Amelia is their 'guinea pig'... they practice carrying her around to be sure they can lift together... when they asked her she was just about to roast a marshmallow... we had a few laughs over this!....Alex....spent the night in a little 'pup' tent with Daniel... they did great!

This is such a great hobby! And such a great way to learn!

Hand sewing the 'Bonnie Blue' ...... The 'view' from our tent... I am on the left, Amelia on the right... Yankees on foot, Confederates lying on the ground...The artillery demonstration was top notch...These are supposed to be original cannon earthworks...the site was so beautiful... hope to return...
