If You Give a Pig a Pancake....

When you ask Alex to pick out a book to read....Today, I allowed Alex to choose what he wanted to read aloud to me for school.....
He read the entire book with very little help. I very much enjoyed listening to him sound out "probably".... it gives me such confidence in our schooling when I see improvement, no matter how large or small.

Alex has had a busy full summer... he is growing tall and strong like his big brother Bradley. Often we look at him and see 'little Bradley' looking back at us. Alex is kind and considerate... he is a very good student and always ready and willing for the school work to begin. In play, he has to work hard to not be left behind by all the big boys that visit with Daniel.....He follows well in conversation and planning and scheming... but I had to assure him that ONE DAY his legs will be just as long as the other boys and he will be able to run JUST AS FAST!

Taking a dip in Uncle John's pool... he learned to flip two or three times under water...

Sissy has a partner in crime for her silly photos, dress up and other random ideas for giggly creative outlets.....

Alex is proud of his big brother Bradley and wears his Air Force shirts a couple days a week...

Kaylee absolutely LOVES her Uncle Alex! She will climb, crawl, sit, jump on Alex wherever he is. She hugs, kisses, and pulls his hair and pokes his eyes! He is very proud of his little niece. He has learned to pick her up gently and carry her.... and Kaylee loves it! He plays with her and 'babysits' her for a few minutes almost every day, he is very careful and attentive to her needs. Alex has the makings of a great Daddy!

Here Alex explores the Battleship while on a field trip with Daddy
